Delete your Keep Me Ready account
You can delete your account and the data stored with it at any time, in the app or by email.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Keep Me Ready.
- Tap Profile in the bottom bar.
- Tap Account.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Read the note, then tap Delete.
You need an internet connection. Your account is deleted from our servers straight away, and the app resets to a fresh install on this phone.
Without the app
Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my Keep Me Ready account".
- Signed in with email or Google: send the email from the address you use in the app, so we can confirm it's yours. If you can't, tell us that address and we'll send a confirmation to it before deleting anything.
- Used the app as a guest: a guest account has no email, so we can't find it from your address. Include the Account ID shown in Profile → Account, or delete it in the app (steps above) before uninstalling. If you've already uninstalled, the guest data isn't linked to your name or email. You can still write to us and we'll help as far as we can.
We'll confirm by email once your account is deleted, within 30 days of your request (usually much sooner).
What is deleted
- Your sign-in record: account ID, email address and any linked Google or Apple sign-in.
- Feedback you sent from Profile → Send feedback.
- Your profile and settings: tracks, seniority, daily goal, reminder time, time zone, language, theme, "Show on unlock" and "When I scroll" settings, and your notification push token.
- Your answer history: every rating, time, source and AI score.
- Your spaced-repetition review data, "Review later" bookmarks and question feedback.
- Your daily AI usage counts and your Pro status on our server.
- When you delete in the app, everything stored on that phone too.
We never store the text of your answers, so there's none to delete.
What may be kept
- Purchase records. Google Play keeps your order history, and RevenueCat (our subscription service) keeps the transaction records tied to your account ID, as required for billing, tax and fraud prevention. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions first.
- Backups. Deleted data can stay in encrypted database backups until they roll over, typically within a few weeks. Backups aren't used to restore deleted accounts.
- Analytics and crash reports. If you had these, they're linked only to your account ID, not your email, and they expire on the service's normal schedule. Ask in your email and we'll delete them sooner.
- Server logs (IP address, time, request type) for a short period, for security.
Delete some data, keep the account
To remove only some data, email us and say what you'd like removed. To stop a feature, turn it off in Profile or remove its permission in Android Settings. To start over on one phone without deleting your account, tap Sign out in Profile → Account.
